PBA Controversy: Ginebra should supports Japeth Aguilar's move to Japan!

According to Homer Sayson of Spin.ph, the offers for Japeth Aguilar from teams in Japan B League, is improving.

It is currently at $40,000 plus per month. Converting it to Peso, using P50.00 per dollar, we will get P2,000,000 plus per month.

That is four times the current max offer in the PBA. So, can you blame our PBA superstars if they want to move to Japan.

Now, according to some reports, Christian Standhardinger is already re-signed by Ginebra. Japeth is still expiring by the end of this tournament.

Now, if Japeth has told the team about his desire to play in the number 1 league of Japan, I hope Ginebra will let him go.

For the sake of Philippine basketball, players wanting to play in a much bigger league should be allowed. By doing so, will systematically elevate the level of our basketball and will provide salaries to more professional basketball players.

Ginebra management should accept the reality that they need to sacrifice for the advancement of Philippine basketball.

For the franchise currently known as the most popular basketball team in the country, I hope they see this as an opportunity to give back.
