PBA Trade Rumors: Magnolia, Rain or Shine, NLEX, Meralco Trade Target Suggestions!

Are you enjoying the ongoing 2021 PBA Governors' Cup? Personally, I am. The action is entertaining and almost all of the legit teams are all-in on winning the championship.

So, now that we are having a long break, let us rundown the teams and suggest a trade. By doing this, we should be touching on their weaknesses and what they may need to add to claim the crown.

We will start with Magnolia, Rain or Shine, NLEX and Meralco.

Meralco Bolts - Richard Escoto
Meralco did a wonderful job on the defensive end in their first two games. Nonetheless, their offense is still not there. I think, it will help if they can add a player who can at least play the power forward position and stretch the floor. That is the reason why Escoto is the guy that I am suggesting for them.

NLEX Road Warriors - Noy Baclao
NLEX is a legit title contender with how awesome KJ McDaniels is plus the elite coaching of coach Yeng Guiao. What they may want to strengthen is their frontline depth as JR Quinahan is struggling and even their other guys. Baclao should be a good value target for NLEX.

Rain or Shine Elasto Painters - 1st round pick
Rain or Shine is playing like their usual self. They have a very good defense and an average offense. Overall though, it will help a lot for the Elasto Painters to realize that they have a small chance of winning the crown this year. So, how about just selling some of their valuable veterans for some juicy 1st round pick? The draft is just around the corner.

Magnolia Hotshots - Prince Caperal
How serious is the injury of Paul Lee? At this point, we have not heard enough info about it. Although, they may want to add someone who can stretch the floor, just in case Paul will be missed for a long period of time. A wing shooter is fine but a stretch bigman could be better for them.
