PBA Trade Rumors: San Miguel wants two young big?

San Miguel Beermen has moved two of the five members of their legendary death 5. Arwind Santos and Alex Cabagnot are dealt for Simon Enciso and Vic Manuel.

Here is an interesting rumor though. San Miguel is still interested to add bigs. Actually, what they want are young bigs.

This is very interesting to me because they already have two of the top 10 giants in the league and one of the best post-scorer in Vic Manuel.

Age wise, Manuel is 34 years old. Yes, he looks like his prime is already a thing of the past but the guy is still a credible starter.

While Moala Tautuaa and Junemar Fajardo are still 32 years old. They are still on their prime and still dominant.

So, what is the point of adding young bigs? They did add a young center in Russell Escoto, last year, but that guy did not last that long with the team.

If we analyze the line-up of San Miguel, what they should look for are three-and-D wingman and forwards.

This is due to how deep their rotation of play creators. They have Chris Ross, Terrence Romeo, CJ Perez and Junemar Fajardo.

What they need are players who can put up a lot of things, without the ball.
