2022 PBA Mock Draft: Magnolia targets the next Marc Pingris?

Here is our most recent mock draft.

#1 BWE Justine Baltazar - If we assume that Thirdy will play one more season in the Japan B League, Baltazar could be the main price of the upcoming draft and the MVP group should be happy to have him.

#2 DYIP Sedrick Barefield - There is no way that the SMC group will let go of the opportunity to get a prospect with a legit NBA pedigree like Barefield.

#3 ALA Mikh McKinney - I wonder if the success of Mikey Williams could convince Alaska to target McKinney instead of Brickman. Either of the two should be an excellent addition to Alaska.

#4 NOR Jeremiah Gray - I think as we move close to the draft, the hype for Jeremiah Gray will grow because of his athleticism and ability to create shots for himself.

#5 ROS Jason Brickman - Jason is just the doctor's order for Rain or Shine. They are badly in need of a starting-caliber point guard and Brickman is arguably the best point guard prospect in this century of the PBA.

#6 ALA Justin Arana - I doubt Alaska will grab two Filipino-Foreigner with their first round picks. So, getting a center with a good defensive pedigree in Arana, should be a good addition for Alaska.

#7 BGSM Ethan Alvano - I am pretty sure Ginebra will look to add a guard or a wingman in this upcoming draft. Ethan could be very interesting for them as he has a different style from the guards in their roster.

# 8 BWE Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser - Brandon may receive the second-highest hype in the bigman position for this draft. He plays like a traditional bigman. He is very strong and with enough athleticism.

#9 BWE Lawrence Domingo - Bigman is still the most important position in the PBA. So, Blackwater should use their late first round picks to gather prospects that can play the bigman position.

#10 NLEX Brandon Bates - NLEX has a very deep team. Nevertheless, they may want to continue adding some young legs to their bigman rotation, knowing that it is lacking high-level talent.

#11 ROS Taylor Statham -  After adding an excellent playmaking point guard who is also an elite shooter. Rain or Shine may want to add a consistent scorer in Statham.

#12 MAG Cael Tiongson - He was once anointed as a lite version of Rudy Hatfield. In short, his playing style is close to that of Marc Pingris. Can he become the 2nd coming of Pinoy Sakuragi?
