PBA Analysis: Is Alaska getting back the savior of their franchise?

The decision of having a Gilas draft is very complicated and the PBA and the players involved are experiencing it right now.

Allyn Bulanadi, through his agent, Marvin Espiritu, has requested to the PBA board that Allyn will be allowed to play for the Alaska Aces.

The last thing that we have heard about the request is that Allyn will still be needed for the February, 2022 games of Gilas Pilipinas.

After that, he can then play for Alaska.

I wonder what happened with the sudden change of heart with the position of Allyn in the line-up of Gilas because he has not played for Gilas in any of their official games and now that he has requested, they now want him to be part of the line-up.

Nevertheless, Bulanadi is a legit talent. He was the 4th pick of the Gilas draft in 2019. Drafted ahead of him were Isaac Go, Rey Suerte and Matt Nieto.

Actually, Bulanadi could be the type of player that Alaska needed. Looking at the current numbers of the players of Alaska, you will see that Jeron Teng is their best local scorer and he is shooting 34% from the field.

Bulanadi has the talent to become the top scorer of Alaska. He is a fluid scorer, who can also create for his teammates.
