PBA Analysis: Should Ginebra trade for a Pringle replacement?

Even though Stanley Pringle avoided ACL injury, he will still be missed for the remainder of this ongoing 2022 Governors' cup.

Overall, Stanley Pringle will be out for three to six months and that indicates that he may not even be there at the start of the 2022 season.

So, Ginebra will be missing the 17.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.2 steals, 44% FG and 35% 3FG per game that Stanley brought in the Philippine Cup.

Should Ginebra look for a replacement, then?

Knowing that this is an import conference should give comfort to Barangay Ginebra fans because Justin Brownlee will be there to handle the offense.

Justin can easily become the focal point of an above-average offense, by himself alone. That is how lethal Justin is.

The question is, do they have enough scoring punch to win the crown?

Last conference, they even struggled with a complete line-up. Now that they will not have the advantage of having two elite pull-up shooters in Justin and Stanley, there is a big question mark about the level of their offense.

I think, they badly need to find a trade for someone who can at least be a credible three-point shooter.
