PBA Controversy: Should the PBA force Terrafirma to sell their franchise?

The answer is Yes.

I will explain why. Actually, the explanation will come from the mouths of the people currently working for the Dyip franchise.

When asked about the decision of Roosevelt Adams to decline their offer, Terrafirma governor Bobby Rosales stated, "hindi kami magkasundo, e. Wala naman tayong magagawa kung ayaw niya naman. Hindi mo rin naman puwedeng pilitin."

On the other hand, the coach of Terrafirma also spoke about the departure of Adams and Matthew Ganuelas-Rosser.

He said, "at sanay din naman kaming walang superstar e. Nagco-compete naman kami kahit papano. So, ganun na lang din."

How can the PBA keep a franchise that is indirectly telling the PBA universe that they do not have the capacity to maintain a competitive team?

Mr. Rosales is basically saying that they cannot meet the demand of Adams. In short, they do not have the money to do the deal.

On the other hand, coach Cardel is implying that Terrafirma will always be working without a superstar. And that they will just be a franchise that will just do their best to compete for as much as possible.

Why is Terrafirma still in the PBA if they do not have the capacity to maintain a competitive team? Actually, they have never even formed a competitive team.

They have already contented with "almost-reaching" the playoffs.

PBA deserves better.
