PBA Team Power Ranking 8.0: Is TNT the team to beat now?

The free agency market of the PBA is heating up. Did it change our power ranking?

#10 Northport (Last #10 last ranking)
Northport fans should celebrate because Northport has not made a farm team trade yet in this mid-tournament break.

#9 Rain or Shine (Last #9 last ranking)
Rain or Shine is trying in the free agency market but they just do not have the financial firepower to compete.

#8 Alaska (Last #7 last ranking)
Losing Rodney Brondial will have little impact on the contention of the Aces but the reality that they cannot retain their role players is a much bigger indication of the future of the Aces.

#7 Phoenix (Last #8 last ranking)
There is a good chance that the current free agency of Chris Banchero could be the most crucial transaction for the future of the Phoenix franchise.

#6 San Miguel (Last #6 last ranking)
San Miguel's ceiling did not move even with the addition of Brondial because Brondial will not help in any of the issues of the Beermen.

#5 Meralco (Last #5 last ranking)
Meralco just lost one of their point guards. How can the Bolts compensate for John Pinto's departure? I am actually intrigued about them just moving on with Chris Newsome, Aaron Black and Bong Quinto as the main part of their guard rotation.

#4 Barangay Ginebra (Last #3 last ranking)
So, Stanley Pringle will not be playing in this ongoing tournament. If Ginebra will not find a suitable replacement for him, I do not think we should consider them as a top 3 contender.

#3 NLEX (Last #4 last ranking)
NLEX fans should pray hard that the imports will be kept in this ongoing tournament. Without KJ McDaniels, NLEX doesn't stand a chance.

#2 Magnolia (Last #1 last ranking)
Will they make a move to help out some of their weaknesses? They may need to do so as TNT just got better.

#1 TNT (Last #2 last ranking)
The decision to change import and then grab Matthew Ganuelas-Rosser has lifted TNT over Magnolia for the #1 spot. I think TNT has a much more complete roster now with those two moves.
