PBA Trade Rumors: Is Robert Bollick pushing for a trade to Ginebra, SMB or Magnolia?

There is no denying in my eyes that Robert Bollick is growing into one of the top five players in the league today.

He is currently averaging the most points per game and the most assists per game of local players. In short, he is currently the best scorer and passer in the league, if we are only talking about Filipino players.

Now, the rumor that he is really considering the offer from Japan B League, is getting stronger. His contract will expire at the end of the ongoing tournament.

Now, according to PBA on the Go, one of the potential reasons that Robert will stay is if he can go to a contender.

That is in a way mind-boggling because being in Northport basically means that you are half-foot into the SMC teams.

And of course, Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, Magnolia Hotshots and San Miguel Beermen are all contenders.

So, I do not think there is a need for Robert to even demand to be traded to a contender. Unless, he wants to go to the other side, the MVP group.

A trade to the MVP group, especially with how amazing he is in the current season, is highly unlikely. That is not the way SMC operates.

Overall though, a Bollick to Ginebra or SMB or Magnolia trade is still the most logical thing to happen in the near future.
