PBA Trade Rumors: Should Phoenix trade Chris Banchero and Matthew Wright?

Without confirmation from the PBA authorities and the team themselves, Chris is currently an unrestricted free agency.

According to PBA on the Go, Phoenix is now negotiating with Chris Banchero. And knowing that Chris has not signed a contract with another team yet, makes me hopeful that Phoenix will find a way to keep him.

Although, I assume a new contract with Chris will surely balloon the current financial ability of Phoenix. That will not be helpful to the future negotiations of the franchise.

I am talking about the upcoming end of the current contract of Matthew Wright. Of course, Wright has been rumored a lot in the past, demanding a trade and this could be due to finances.

Now, the main issue with the upcoming negotiation with Matthew Wright is the rumored offer from Japan B League.

These offers are buzzing to be much higher even using the standards of what San Miguel Corporation is capable of giving to their stars.

But, I am still holding hopes that Phoenix can retain the two good-looking awesome stars as the faces of their franchise.

Chris is currently breaking out in the ongoing tournament. And if this is the real level of his play, an improved chemistry with Wright could catapult them into the Finals in the near future.
