PBA Controversy: Power Ranking the potential buyers of Alaska Aces!

When Alaska Aces shocked everyone about their decision to leave the PBA, a lot of people were worried that no company will decide to purchase their franchise.

Just a few days after, the number of estimated suitors for the franchise is up to seven. Yes. Believe it or not but PBA is still alluring enough that seven franchises are lining up to get Alaska.

We have not heard all their names but currently, there are rumors out there for four of them. So, here is my ranking of the five rumored buyers. Who is the one that I want the most!

4. Family Brand Sardines
According to Tiebreakertimes, Family is one of the companies that are trying to persuade Alaska. And they have some good credentials in the amateur league. They formed a high-quality and high-costing MPBL team.

They also joined the PBA 3x3 tournament. So, they are showing some evidence that they are serious about this.

3. Shoppee
This is hinted at by PBA on the Go. Unlike Family brand, they have not shown any evidence that they will be focused on forming competitive teams. Nevertheless, knowing their current status in their market and their trending company, Shoppee will surely join with the intent of succeeding.

2. Manny Villar Company
There is no question that a Manny Villar company will be at par with that of MVP group and San Miguel Corporation. They will also bring that financial muscle that the independent teams badly need.

1. Chooks to Go
Knowing their history, my favorite is still Chooks to Go. Knowing their relationship with MVP group and San Miguel Corp., I expect that they will be competing for supremacy from day 1.
