PBA Team Power Ranking 2.0: Ginebra and TNT are not top 3 title contenders?

The PBA is back! Let us update our ranking! Who is the best bet of winning the 2022 Governors' Cup crown?

#10 Northport (#10 last ranking)
It is quite obvious in my eyes that the management of the Batang Pier franchise is focus now on the upcoming PBA draft.

#9 Rain or Shine (#8 last ranking)
If I ask you the question, why should you bet on Rain or Shine to be the champion of the ongoing tournament, can you come up with a compelling answer? Personally, it is not that easy.

#8 Alaska (7 last ranking)
Alaska is averaging the second lowest points per game right now. No matter how good their defense is, if their offense is so bad, it is hard to trust them as a contender.

#7 Phoenix (#9 last ranking)
I commend Phoenix for continuing to fight and they currently have a good 4-2 card. Even though they lost Chris Banchero, their identity remained the same as they currently average the 2nd most three-pointers made per game, with 34% accuracy.

#6 San Miguel (#6 last ranking)
San Miguel will try a new import in Orlando Johnson. My biggest question about it is the fact that Johnson is best when he handles the ball. So, SMB will continue to nerf the effectiveness of their amazing star power.

#5 TNT (#1 last ranking)
Unfortunately for TNT, they may have just sacrificed their contendership in this tournament for the sake of the upcoming Gilas tournament.

#4 Barangay Ginebra (#5 last ranking)
Ginebra is losing their identity. Coach Tim Cone was consistent in the last few years in crafting Ginebra as a top 3 defense. This year, they are currently on the bottom half.

#3 NLEX (#4 last ranking)
Let me keep NLEX in the top 3 for the mean time as KJ McDaniels sustain his fiery form, producing 31.2 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 50% FG per game.

#2 Meralco (#3 last ranking)
Meralco legitimized themselves as a top 2 contender after their two impressive wins against Ginebra and NLEX.

#1 Magnolia (#2 last ranking)
I continue to be mesmerized with the quality of coach Chito Victolero. He has been successful in building up elite defense in the past and now, his team is the best offense, averaging the most points per game.
