PBA Trade Rumors: Ex Ginebra supertar giant is targeted by Meralco!

Unfortunately for the Northport Batang Pier, they are bound to tank their last remaining games as their top two stars, Robert Bolick and Greg Slaughter, decided not to sign their contract offer.

According to some sources, Meralco Bolts wants Greg Slaughter. Unfortunately, the guy is a Restricted Free Agent.

By being a restricted free agent, Northport still has the right to match a contract that Greg will sign with Meralco. Meaning, he cannot play for Meralco unless Northport will not match.

According to the source, Northport wants two players for them to give up Greg. So, the question is, who are the two players that should be fair in exchange for a star giant who wanted to play elsewhere.

Actually, Meralco has a pretty loaded line-up. But, if we are going to make a list of potential choices, I will go with Alvin Pasaol, Allein Maliksi, Aaron Black, Franky Johnson, Bong Quinto, Mac Belo and Nonoy Baclao.

I think, any pair from that list should be accepted to be good enough depending on the way you will value the reality that Greg does not want to play for Northport.

I think, Northport may want to have the big names. So, they could be looking on Alvin Pasaol, Bong Quinto and Mac Belo.

While Meralco, may want more that it will be Black, Johnson or Baclao.

Overall though, I can easily see the two sides coming up with best exchange possible.
