PBA Trade Rumors: Ginebra is willing to trade LA Tenorio?

There is a good argument that LA Tenorio has one of the most fascinating careers in the PBA. He started with the Beermen franchise, played for Alaska and now playing a big part of the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel history.

Now, he may play for one more team as there is a rumor of a potential Juami Tiongson for LA Tenorio trade.

If you are not familiar, Tiongson is currently the starting point guard of Terrafirma Dyip. He was not a big name until he broke out with the Dyip franchise.

So, why is LA Tenorio suddenly on the trade rumor mill?

In this tournament, he is currently averaging 10.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 39% FG and 33% 3FG per game.

If you watch him play, you will observe that he is not that fast anymore but the high-level of skills is still there.

It is interesting to me though that they want to give him up for a fellow point guard who is also a very good shooter but the defense is highly suspect.

In this current tournament, three-point shooting is not the biggest issue of Ginebra. Thanks to the sudden eruption of Arvin Tolentino and the improvement of Scottie Thompson.

And knowing that LA could be better in the other areas, it is quite questionable to me why Ginebra will do this.
