PBA Trade Rumors: Can San Miguel really get Bobby Ray Parks Jr.?

I know that Ray Parks Jr. is still one of the most hated players in Philippine basketball. The guy just committed a lot of things that Filipino hate.

Nevertheless, there are clear evidence that Parks is a special player. The guy is playing for one of the best teams in Japan B League.

Parks is currently averaging 10.8 points, 47% FG, 37% 3FG, 3.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steal per game. He is a crucial part of a contender.

Now, there is this rumor stating that San Miguel is willing to pay up his contract for him to go over to the side of San Miguel.

Is this possible?

Unfortunately, I checked back the articles about his signing in Japan and did not found a clear explanation of his agreement and current status with TNT.

Nevertheless, if he is still a Restricted Free Agency, I do not think San Miguel can just pay up his contract and play for them.

As long as TNT has not rescinded their offer to him, they should still have his rights in terms of playing in the PBA.

It seems like Ray will love it more if he will go to the side of the San Miguel Corp., rather than the MVP group. Nevertheless, I do not think San Miguel can get him that easily.

In short, a trade should happen if San Miguel wants him. What do you think, should TNT negotiate a trade and get something for a player that they are not using?
