It seems like we do have a modern rivalry in Ginebra versus Meralco. Unfortunately, it is a one-sided one. Nevertheless, the offseason is here and we will give our trade target suggestion to each team.
Meralco
Matthew Wright - what Meralco need is to get a top 10 caliber player. Wright is having trouble finding a new contract with Phoenix. How about a sign and trade deal with Meralco? That way Phoenix can still get good pieces for Matthew.
Greg Slaughter - I really hope Greg will find a way to the MVP group if this is really the side that will give him the opportunity. Greg can be that twin tower partner to Raymond Almazan.
#4 pick - I am really hopeful about the depth of this upcoming draft. Meralco has a lot of assets to create a very good package that can entice Converge enough to say yes.
Ginebra
Robert Bolick - I think Ginebra will have a hard time winning the Philippine Cup if Pringle will continue to be injury-prone. How about replacing him with a much younger and healthier Bolick?
Arwind Santos - How healthy is Japeth Aguilar? If they are not confident, how about adding someone that can replace him but will also not cost them that much.
Juami Tiongson - Tiongson could be the plan B if Bolick will not be available. Excellent shooter with respectable scoring and playmaking abilities.
