PBA Controversy: PBA teams are paying more than the maximum contract?

I am pretty sure you are well aware with the current dispute between Greg Slaughter and the Northport Batang Pier.

It started with a social media post by Greg Slaughter, stating that Northport has abandoned him in the negotiating table.

We found out that an offer was already submitted by Northport and it is a maximum contract. It is a good evidence to conclude that Greg lied.

And then Greg dropped a bomb that the media is not paying attention at all. I do not know why but if you read between the lines, Greg is telling something huge.

He is saying that what they are offering is less than what they were paying him before.

If they are offering him a maximum contract, it means that he was being paid more than that amount.

The PBA seems to have found a way for the national media to turn a deaf ear to this indirect allegation.

At this point, it will be hard to see Greg even finding a way back into the PBA.

Unfortunately, he is not the PBA personality that the PBA fans will support if he goes full throttle in revealing the issues of the league. But, what is even the point of being silent now?

You may hate Greg, but at the very least, give him respect in having the balls of indirectly revealing to the public of an open secret that should be tackled to be fixed.
