PBA Controversy: Abueva deserved the ejection and suspension?

I am pretty sure you are well aware with the current issue about Calvin Abueva. In a heated game against Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, Calvin was called for two technical fouls. He was ejected in that game.

After that game, Calvin added fireworks by leaving early from the arena and shouting Japan, Japan. He is implying a potential move to that International league.

Now, you can watch my punch-by-punch in-depth take about what happened in that game by going to this video.

If you do not have time, I can simplify it with you.

The Beast was defeated by the mind games of Ginebra. But, he was also clearly getting a lot of physical attacks that the referees failed to see. I just hope it was not intentional.

And then he was called for a second technical foul with a basis that will be hard to prove in any type of court. The evidence?

The unwillingness of the PBA to provide an explanation of the call. They announced that Calvin will be fined and suspended but did you hear an explanation why that second technical foul call was right?

They cannot give one because there is no clear explanation for it other than the referees made a mistake. Unfortunately, the PBA management decided to side with the officiating.

And what made it more laughable is the fact that coach Pido was not suspended. The guy who made an act that is way more unsportsmanlike than what Calvin did.

I have a lot more things to say but with all the fiasco in the national team. With this issue. And with the with continues farm team galore in the league. It is getting harder to see anything positive in Philippine basketball.
