PBA Team Power Ranking 3.0: Ginebra is not #1 anymore?

The action inside the court is heating up! Same with the race for the top of the standings! So, here is our update ranking!

#10 Rain or Shine
I cannot think of any big positive right now with the bad start of Rain or Shine other than this should push them to tank and get a top 3 pick in the upcoming draft.

#9 Converge
The 1-3 start of Converge will be hard to overcome but at the very least, Justin Arana and Jeo Ambohot are playing very well.

#8 Northport
Frustrations could be catching up with coach Pido Jarencio. After winning their first two games, they went 0-2. Is there a chance that he is already in the hot seat?

 #7 Phoenix
On the other hand, Phoenix is heating up. They are currently the top scoring team and it is anchored to their three-point shooting. Last time they shot this hot in the Philippine Cup, they went to the semifinals.

#6 Magnolia
I think the top 6 is so tight right now that we need to push down Magnolia to #6 with the current Paul Lee injury and the Calvin Abueva issue. I do not think Magnolia can win the crown without Calvin.

#5 NLEX
Calvin Oftana is proving himself to be a capable ace player in their first three games, averaging 18.7 points, 53% FG, 4.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.

#4 TNT
Mikey Williams is back in the country but the drama is not done. Will he sign an extension or not? I hope he does.

#3 Meralco
Meralco is playing steady in their first three games. They are the most efficient three-point shooting team and the third best in terms of opponent points per game.

#2 San Miguel
The Kraken is currently undefeated after their first three games but I will keep them in this spot for one more week by a hair line. Looking at the numbers, they are still giving up the fifth most points per game.

#1 Ginebra
We will keep Ginebra at #1 for now. The biggest question now is the health of Stanley Pringle. Fortunately for Ginebra, Arvin Tolentino is becoming consistent with his outside shooting barrage.
