PBA Team Power Ranking 4.0: Ginebra is the favorite to win the championship?

The current competition level in the PBA is as high as we want it to be for this tournament. I am contemplating about adding Blackwater to the ranking but I have decided to wait for them to win game #4 before doing so.

#10 Rain or Shine
The young guards of Rain or Shine is providing hope for the future of the franchise. But, I still think that they lack a young player with a top 10 upside. Tanking is their best way to get one.

#9 Converge
Converge is already at 2-4 and they are also having troubles with injury. Jeron Teng is already sidelined and Justin Arana could be there soon, too.

#8 Northport
Bolick is back at the top of the scoring totem pole but his team is also back at the lower half of the standings. Robert's crazy production is not resulting to a good record. I think, he badly needs an addition of support.

 #7 Phoenix
Matthew Wright continue to struggle with his efficiency this season. It has reached the point that Jason Perkins is now putting up a higher points per game than Matthew.

#6 Magnolia
I am retaining them in this position until we see a much clearer light to the problems of their team. The biggest question is, can The Beast return to his MVP-candidate form?

#5 NLEX
NLEX' team numbers are not actually encouraging. Although, they managed to have a winning record after five games.

#4 Meralco
Aaron Black has an explosive start to the conference. Unfortunately, an injury hit him. Nevertheless, Meralco still have a deep line-up to survive.

#3 San Miguel
The Kraken and CJ Perez are showing how formidable they are as a duo. Nevertheless, the injury-bug attack on them is so strong that I need to move them down.

#2 TNT
As expected, Mikey Williams is still one of the top 5 players in this league. There is a good argument that if we only consider on-court stuff, he is the best.

#1 Ginebra
I am excited to see how Ginebra will perform without coach Tim Cone in the sideline. To be honest, TNT can takeover this spot as early as next week.
