PBA Controversy: Is the PBA ready for a 7'5 behemoth?

The 2022 PBA Philippine Cup will  be historic because it will be the tournament that will determine the first two representative of the PBA to the EASL.

TNT Tropang Giga is the first one. Who will be the second one, Meralco Bolts or San Miguel Beermen?

The 2022 Commissioner's cup will also be special because it will be the first tournament in a while with a foreign guest team.

But, PBA has a big problem.

The problem is so big. It is 7'5 big because the biggest player of the Bay Area Dragon is a 7'5 Chinese Behemoth in Liu Chuanxing.

Liu will be recognized as a locale player and Bay Area still have a 6'9 and a 6'10 locale player.

By the way, they will also have a 6'10 NBA veteran in Andrew Nicholson to lead their team.

For the first time ever, the PBA may have invited a team that will help them realize that they are far away from being a global league.

It will not be fun to watch Ginebra, San Miguel, TNT and the other teams get obliterated by the Dragons but this could be the way that the league will finally evolve.
