PBA Controversy: SMB' head coach job is on the line in this Game 7?

Do you remember the Petronovela days of the San Miguel franchise? It seems like the management is so frightened to go back to that era that they decided to give the maximum tolerance to coach Leo Austria.

San Miguel has arguably the most powerful line-up in the last decade of the league. So, if they end up failing to win a crown for the third straight year, that will be a big letdown.

Actually, their failure to win a grandslam is actually a failure in itself.

Nevertheless, SMB has never failed to win the crown in the Philippine Cup during the Fajardo era when they end up with the #1 seed.

Meralco is threatening to end that run and it is not even the Finals.

Being the #1 seed indicates that the Beermen are near their peak level. So, it is unimaginable to see Meralco beat them because there is a good argument that there is no Bolt who can be a starter for the Beermen.

So, if Meralco wins, San Miguel was defeated near their peak form by a team that they obviously dwarfed, not only in height but in talent.

Another perfect evidence that it is time to find a new head coach. It will be laughable if the management of SMB will still disregard the obvious.
