When you hate a person, you are unconsciously devaluing everything that he or she does.
I think a lot of fans is doing that right now with coach Chot Reyes. The hate against him is so strong right now that they do not want to acknowledge his greatness as a PBA coach.
The game 1 of the Finals just showed again how good he is as a coach.
San Miguel got the early lead but TNT found a way to tighten their defense and outscore SMB to win the game.
The reality is, coach Chot is a superb PBA coach. There is a reason why he has a lot of Coach of the Year award. He knows how to win.
I mean, he missed two games and both were defeats for TNT. And suddenly he returned and they are finding ways to win.
So, even if you are like me who are not in favor of him being the head coach of Gilas, we still need to recognize his ability as a PBA coach.
There is a reason why majority of analyst point to him as the primary reason why TNT will win.
That is the greatness of coach Chot. He knows how to win PBA championships.
