PBA Imports Highlights: San Miguel's import is an NBA Top 5 pick!

The majority of the import in the upcoming tournament have NBA experience. So, the flagship team of San Miguel Corporation made sure that they will bring the biggest name.

Thomas played five seasons in the NBA with six NBA teams namely; Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, Portland Trailblazers, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers.

Thomas have 313 games in the NBA and ended up averaging 4.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, 0.6 assist, 0.5 steal, 47% FG per game.

He was the #5 pick in the Anthony Davis draft and was drafted ahead of Damian Lillard and Draymond Green. Imagine if Sacramento picked Damian over him.

So, why was he a top 5 pick?

He is a ball of energy. Just think of him as a Calvin Abueva type of player who is more athletic. Although, his skill was really not that high when he entered the draft.

How will he fit with the Beermen?

It will be a 50/50 thing. It is good that he should be able to impact the game with his energy and athleticism even without the ball.

The bad thing is, he will not provide the spacing that they need. Talent wise though, bringing the biggest name possible is always a good decision.
