PBA Power Ranking: Ginebra coach Tim Cone is still the #1 coach in the PBA?

Now that the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup is down to the last two teams. It is time to give you our ranking of all the coaches in the league.

We are ranking them solely with what we saw and observed in the last two years of competition. Take note though that the team success should not be purely credited to the quality of the coach. Talent level and chemistry is also part of it.

Of course, I did not include the new coach of Converge, Aldin Ayo because he was just signed.

#11 Coach John Cardel - Terrafirma
A basketball team management who is in his right mind should have fired coach Cardel a long time ago. Unless the management is actually happy with their consistency as one of the two worst team in the league.

#10 Coach Pido Jarencio - Northport
Another coach that should have been fired a long time ago. He is a proven championship coach in the UAAP but in the PBA, nobody is taking him seriously.

#9 Coach Chris Gavina - Rain or Shine
I was a fan before he got the job in Rain or Shine. I am not sure about what is happening but his ability to fire up his team and come up with good strategy is not being exhibited in the last two years.

#8 Coach Topex Robinson - Phoenix
I think he has troubles in coping up with the trade rumor surrounding his stars. He has a good brand of basketball but he has a lot of things that he needs to work on.

#7 Coach Ariel Vanguardia - Blackwater
He just delivered his best ever performance as a coach. For him to lead the worst roster to the playoffs is an amazing feat.

#6 Coach Leo Austria - San Miguel
The best quality of coach Leo is his control of the egos of his players. He is the best in that. But, in all the other aspects, I do not think he stands out at all.
