PBA Analysis: Meralco Bolts is losing and that is GOOD!

I commend the Meralco Bolts for being one of the top 4 teams in the last three tournaments. They are on the semifinals of the last two Philippine cup and the Finals of the recent Governors' Cup.

Reaching the top is not easy. Maintaining yourself on the top of the competition is as hard as the climb to the top. Meralco just experienced that.

They are currently 1-5 and with the injuries to their core players continue to pile up, a dream of a come-from-behind run for a playoff birth is highly unlikely.

And you know what Meralco fans, this is the best thing for your future!

As we have witnessed in the last three tournaments, Meralco can sniff the championship but they are lacking to complete the deal.

And I think that could be another reliable giant. And the way the upcoming draft is shaping up, Meralco may have good options there.

I am talking about Keith Datu and Brandon Bates as the early potential options. Add the Luis Villegas and even Zavier Lucero and Meralco can be better as early as next season.

Think about it, you can continue trying to break in for a championship even though you always have talent disadvantage or you can suffer for the remainder of the season and have a good weapon next year, to try and breakout.
