PBA Controversy: Terrafirma Dyip three steps REBUILD!

Terrafirma is on a historic streak of losing right now. Of course, we should have expected this knowing that they are not playing in the PBA to win a championship.

Now, here is the hard part. According to rumors, no companies are interested to buy Terrafirma Dyip. Maybe, that is also the reason why we are not hearing that they are on sale.

I wonder why. Maybe they are looking at the roster and are having a hard time of finding a way to rebuild it.

Actually, rebuilding Terrafirma to a contender is easy.

Here are the steps.

1. Find a coach who can develop players.
Coach John Cardel is not a bad coach. But, he is also not that good. Fortunately, Terrafirma is loaded with good young players. What they need is a coach who can help them develop. I think Munzon can be as impressive as his draft batch mates. He just need to have the right coach.

2. Do not trade any first round pick.
Here is an easy step. They are now on track to get the #1 pick of the upcoming draft. I think there will be one blue-chip prospect at least for that #1 pick. Keep that guy and you now have a very exciting nucleus.

3. Trade Juami Tiongson.

He is still in his prime but at 31 years old, he is not really in line with the young age of the core. They should find a 1st round pick for him or a good young prospect. Like, how about Jeo Ambohot or Tyrus Hill of Converge? Or, try getting Troy Rike from Northport. Or if it is Ginebra, how about getting as many first round picks as possible?
