PBA Trade Rumors: Magnolia should trade Paul Lee if they fail to win the 2022 Com. Cup Championship?

Correct me if I am wrong, Paul Lee has been on the trade discussion for more than a year now? But he is still with the Magnolia Hotshots.

I admire the willingness of Magnolia to keep their line-up intact. San Miguel and Barangay Ginebra even made moves this tournament break.

The reality though is, chemistry always have a maximum effect on a team. And I think that is currently being experienced by Magnolia.

Are they afraid that making a trade now to exchange Paul for another superstar will have a bigger negative impact to their chemistry than the positive impact on the upgrade from Paul?

Maybe.

Nevertheless, Magnolia should just take the risk of making a move if they fail again. Specially if Nikola Radocevic managed to stay healthy for the entirety of the playoffs.

Nikola is one of the top 5 imports in this tournament. If Magnolia fails again, they can only blame themselves. Although, Paul Lee should not be the guy to be traded right away.

What if Paul suddenly managed to have a good run in the playoffs? Knowing that Paul is one of the most respected shooter in the league and Magnolia has spacing issues, they should keep him, if he does.
