PBA Controversy: San Miguel will risk Fajardo's long-term health?

Believe it or not but the San Miguel Beermen is on the verge of being eliminated from the 2022 PBA Commissioner's Cup.

This is so surprising because they just won the 2022 Philippine Cup and during that tournament they showed an upgraded version of their team.

An upgraded version where they have more people who are getting more opportunities to create. A much more fluid system.

Everything changed in this Commissioner's cup after The Kraken was injured. Suddenly, everyone is not playing their game. Suddenly the system was stagnant again.

Then, we saw Junemar Fajardo in uniform during their defeat at the hands of the Magnolia Hotshots. Suddenly, he is scheduled to return.

According to the initial report of his injury, he needs six to eight weeks for his throat to fully-recuperate from his injury.

We are just on his fifth week. Maybe, there is a chance that healed faster than expected. That can happen sometimes because diagnosis are just estimates.

But, do not discount the possibility that SMB, specially coach Leo, just wants to try to salvage their conference and their chance of accomplishing a grandslam.

Even though they will take a much higher risk of a dimer future with Fajardo.
