PBA Power Ranking: Top 5 BREAKOUT Players this season!

Here are the top 5 breakout players this 2022-2023 PBA season!

 #5 Aaron Black

It is really fun to witness players sustained their improvements. Black was one of the most improved player last year and by the looks of it, he will do it again. Even if you believe that nepotism helped him, the fact that he is backing it up made it worth it.

#4 Jeron Teng
If you have been reading and listening to our works, you could have concluded that we are not that high with Jeron. Nevertheless, his numbers are really good this year. He is averaging 14.6 points, 45% FG, 40% 3FG, 5.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. The rise of his three-point shooting is the key to this and the more sustainable it is, the better Teng will be.

#3 Arvin Tolentino
Tolentino got the role that he deserves in Northport and he is showing that he deserves it. I actually thought that he is not yet ready for such a big role. He is a big wing who can defend power forwards and can handle the ball and shoots the light out.

#2. Don Trollano
If you think the rise of Don already peaked last season, you are wrong. He is currently averaging 16.0 points, 45% FG, 43% 3FG, 5.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. I am actually wondering why Don is not being invited for the Gilas pool when he has the right skillset for a role player.

#1 RR Pogoy
I am a big believer that the biggest improvement is taking a step closer to the MVP award. Pogoy is doing that this year. He has putting up performances that gives him a right to be one of the candidates for the MVP award.
