Did you ever imagine that Converge will be on the thick and thin of getting one of the twice-to-beat advantage? And on the other hand, San Miguel Beermen is at the verge of elimination?
With how crazy the current 2022 PBA Commissioner's cup is, I expect a lot of trades once teams start to get eliminated.
And let me continue our current series of articles wherein we predict the next player to be traded. For this one, we will have Converge, TNT and Rain or Shine.
Converge - Allyn Bulanadi
Converge has a very deep team of young players that it is just logical to see some who fails to get the right amount of opportunity that they deserve. Allyn got some good games in this tournament but the numbers are now very bad. The playing time are also on the downtrend that Alec Stockton is averaging more minutes than him.
TNT - Mikey Williams
I think that Mikey Williams is still the best bet to be traded this year out of TNT. Just because we are not hearing any negative now from the issue doesn't entail that Mikey has changed 100%. It is his personality for the past few years. You cannot just change it for a week. Also, SMB knows that there is a chance that they can force a trade for Mikey. With their struggles, I think SMB will try to take a shot.
Rain or Shine - Mike Nieto
Rain or Shine is quite hard to predict because coach Yeng is known to be patient and we have not heard that much rumor in the past. But, one potential possibility is for one of the MVP teams wanting to get back Nieto, a product of Ateneo.
