PBA Controversy: Converge coach Aldin Ayo will leave the PBA to return to La Salle?

It is easy to be disappointed with how the 2022 PBA Commissioner's Cup of Converge Fiber Xers ended. They played really well in the elimination round  that we expected them to be better in that quarterfinals.

Nevertheless, it was still an excellent showing for a young squad with a new coach. It also proved that coach Aldin is really an elite coach.

Unfortunately for Converge fans, coach Aldin already have one of the most bizarre coaching records in the history of Philippine basketball.

He decided to leave his college squads after winning a crown. And those college squads are powerhouses in the collegiate rank.

So, we can easily assume that he can also leave Converge.

After the initial rumor sprouted because of a social media posts when DLSU was eliminated. He denied it stating that it was all about his connection to Kevin Quiambao.

But recently, coach Aldin stirred the pot again by posting an old photo of his time as a coach in DLSU. Is he sending some signal to someone?

I will not argue with anyone who assume that right away. The history of coach Aldin tells us that the guy can do it, even with Converge.

I am hoping though that he will remain with Converge, for the sake of the parity of the league.
