PBA Free Agency: Which team should try to bring back the ex Ginebra giant?

Spin.ph Homer Sayson is now our certified insider of Japan B League after he put up some juicy rumors about our Filipino players.

Of course, we are already aware that Justine Baltazar is going back to the Philippines. Are you aware though that Greg Slaughter is already at risk of being release by his team?

It seems like our bigmen are having a hard time finding consistent minutes in Japan. It is not shocking because the bigman position is crowded by the foreign players.

Now, according to Homer, even if Greg is release, the chances that he return to the PBA is slim or almost none because of how he ended his relationship with the San Miguel Corporation.

Nevertheless, the chance is still there and I think it is worth for these three teams to bring him back!

Meralco Bolts
The connection here is easy. Coach Norman Black was the coach of Greg Slaughter in college. I am pretty sure he knows how to utilize Greg. It also fits very well that Meralco is badly in need of a giant center. With how injury prone Raymond Almazan is, Meralco needs another one.

Converge Fiber Xers
It is time for us to consider Converge as a franchise that is at par with the San Miguel Corporation and MVP group due to the arrival of Governor Delta Pineda. With that power, they should be able to bring back the giant which they lack.

Magnolia Hotshots
With how different Magnolia is making transactions, people are now questioning if they are either the least favorite child out of the three San Miguel Corporation teams or they are not a part of it anymore?

If the Magnolia management is already feeling being left out by the Beermen and Ginebra franchise, doing a move that will put up a message to the management could be worth it. Add the reality that they need a giant and Magnolia could be hitting two birds with this move.
