A new year means a new set of 12 months to talk and be surprise with the trades that the 12 teams in the league can come up with!
Knowing that we are just starting the year, giving our prediction should be entertaining! Here are the top 10 PBA names that we expect to be traded this 2023. They are ranked according to their star power and likelihood of being traded.
#10 Aljon Mariano
After grabbing two young guns in Jamie Malonzo and Jeremiah Gray, Ginebra may have just settled their future core. Mariano is about to leave his prime and with his three-point shooting still not existent, Ginebra may have enough reason to put him to their next trade package.
#9 Jeo Ambohot
Ambohot will be the first honor of Converge in terms of being part of trade rumors in 2022. I think, it still make sense that he will be the biggest lure for Converge to get the player that they want more.
#8 Isaac Go
He suffered a gruesome injury and may not be back anytime soon. Nevertheless, with his size and age, one of the San Miguel Corporation teams will not overcome the urge to harvest him this 2023.
#7 Joshua Munzon
Another #1 pick of Terrafirma that we are expecting them to unload. Of course, we want to be proven wrong but we did not hear anything to change our belief about the role of Terrafirma in the PBA.
#6 Chris Ross
Chris have several posts in 2022 alluding to the possibility of changing team. If San Miguel can trade Alex Cabagnot and Arwind Santos, they can also do it to Ross.
