Roosevelt Adams was considered by majority of the fans as a bust. I wonder now if that is really true because he is manufacturing 8.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
He said in a recent interview that he was really grateful to represent our country. And that the Philippine Basketball Association will still be an option for him.
I suspect that playing for Terrafirma again will not happen. So, who are the top 3 teams who should trade for him and convince him to return?
#3 Phoenix Super LPG
Reading between the lines of Roosevelt's explanation of his decision to leave for Japan, I think he wanted a bigger opportunity to get a much bigger role. Phoenix can give him that and even the chance to be the guy of his own team.
#2 Magnolia Hotshots
Adams can play multiple positions. So, fitting him to Magnolia should not be an issue. Also, Magnolia is in need of a player that can space out the floor. It will be very interesting to see Magnolia play Jalalon, Abueva, Adams, Dionisio and Sangalang.
#1 San Miguel Beermen
Easily the team with the biggest need for a forward. Adams proved in his time in the PBA that he can really shoot. He also showed the potential to be more than that. Even though he will be coming to a team with a lot of ball-handler, I think Adams will still enjoy playing in a very high-quality squad.
