San Miguel Beermen just won the 2022 Philippine Cup. It was a well-deserved championship and it established them again as the best local team in the country.
Import-laden conference is just a different ball-game. But at the very least, they humanized the Bay Area Dragons who was like on a different level in the Elimination round..
So, with the defeat, San Miguel is facing a dilemma of doing something or retaining the status quo.
Regardless, here are the top trade targets that they can consider.
Javee Mocon
Will Navarro is actually my top choice but with his injury, he will not be able to help right away. That makes Mocon the next great possibility.
He just led Phoenix Super LPG to another playoff appearance. He is a do-it-all forward that fits very well with the current stars of San Miguel.
Roosevelt Adams
The much easier target is Adams because his right is with Terrafirma and we all know the connection between Terrafirma and SMC. Adams is a 3-and-D guy with potential to be more. With his three-point shooting, he will provide the spacing that Fajardo needs.
