This article will be a good evidence that the PBA needs more team. I believe there are a lot of players who are more than deserving of more playing time.
Majority of these players are in a situation wherein you cannot really blame their current team because it is working and talent is still the most crucial part in winning in the PBA.
#10 Jerrick Ahanmisi
Magnolia is doing well in developing Ahanmisi. Ahanmisi has a clear role for Magnolia and Jerrick is showing improvement. My issue is that he could be boxed into a spacer role in Magnolia because of how deep Magnolia is in ball handlers.
#9 Paul Zamar
There is a good chance that Zamar is more than willing ride the bench for the entirety of his career in exchange for the good pay that he is receiving. That will be very unfortunately because he can be more than that.
#8 Allyn Bulanadi
Bulanadi is suffering from a very deep guard rotation of Converge. And he ended up with unacceptable numbers in the Commissioner's Cup. I think a new team can give him more opportunity to find the role.
#7 Fredrick Tungcab
I am beginning to become a believer of Tungcab. This Commissioner's Cup, Tungcab averaged 6.6 points with 46% shooting from the field and beyond the arc. He has that versatile game of a forward that can help other teams out there who can give him more minutes.
#6 Von Pessumal
I remember coach Tim Cone promising more minutes for Pessumal. That was true in this Commissioner's Cup but Von is only averaging 8.8 minutes per game. It increased by 3 minutes but not enough to merit that his role has changed.
