Art Dela Cruz is part of the 2015 PBA draft and he already have the power to become an Unrestricted Free Agent the moment his current deal is done.
He missed a lot of games due to injury but the versatile game that made him a very interesting prospect is still there and obvious.
So, these are the top 3 teams that should target him.
San Miguel
San Miguel should consider him due to their obvious need for a forward. Art though is not big enough to handle the big forwards in the league. Nevertheless, he is a well-rounded player that can easily fit in with the star-studded line-up of San Miguel.
NLEX
Coach Frankie Lim and Art Dela Cruz did not reach each other in San Beda. Nevertheless, the connection is still there. And if NLEX is really looking to trade their small forward, Don Trollano, they should find an in-prime replacement like Art.
Converge
Converge reduced the number of ball-handlers in their most recent deals. Adding one in Art who will bring size and intelligence will be a good thing, then. The only issue is the unwillingness of Art to take three-pointers. If Converge develop his outside shot, Art can be more dangerous.
