In the National Basketball Association, players are famous all throughout the world, primarily because of their exploits inside the court.
For a few players though, their story outside the court is their ticket to stardom. And that is the story of the import of NLEX.
NLEX - Jonathon Simmons
Simmons last played in the NBA, four years ago. He played their for four seasons and he ended up with 258 regular games and 25 playoff games. The guy averaged 7.8 points, 1.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 43% FG and 34% 3FG per game in the playoffs!
That speaks a lot about the quality of Simmons. Now, are you familiar with his story? To summarize, Simmons managed to get into the NBA by taking part of an NBA tryout wherein he was even the one who paid to be part of it!
His perseverance was well respected and let us see if that is what NLEX needs to do a miracle and win the championship.
Grade: A
TNT - Jalen Hudson
Believe it or not but TNT is the one who will be having an unknown import. Hudson's highest level of play was the G League and he put up acceptable number of 13.3 points, 45% FG, 37% 3FG, 3.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
Hudson has a strong body but he is not the usual out-of-this world athlete. He can jump high but I am not confident he will be elite in breaking down the defense.
