PBA Trade Rumors: San Miguel-Magnolia-Terrafirma BIG BIG Trade!

Do you think Allyn Bulanadi will be the only new addition to San Miguel Beermen in preparation for the upcoming 2023 PBA Governors' Cup?

Specially if we consider the reality that the next tournament after that can be in the last quarter of this year because of the 2023 FIBA World Cup?

Yes. I do not think too that Allyn will be the last one. So, it make sense that San Miguel is about to make other big trades.

According to a recent live of Snow Badua, a three team deal is on the works.

San Miguel received Isaac Go
Magnolia received Moala Tautuaa
Terrafirma received Magnolia players

I will be shocked if San Miguel really end up dealing Moala for an injured Isaac Go, alone. I expect them to get at least one more usable piece.

Maybe, they can get back Alex Cabagnot if Chris Ross is already on his way out on another trade?

Magnolia will end up with as a winner in this trade just by the mere fact that they will get a top 10 center in the league. I have been lobbying for Magnolia to trade for Moala for a while now.

With Moala' size, passing, willingness to shoot three and ability to defend his fellow giants, Magnolia's talent level will level-up.

Now, who are the guys that Terrafirma should get?

Optimistic - The package that a serious team should ask
Aris Dionisio, Kit Zaldivar, Adrian Wong
Getting three young quality players will surely help Terrafirma not only today but in the future. I am a big believer of Dionisio. I think he is a lite lite version of Arwind Santos. Wong is playing bad but he knows his role as a sniper. Zaldivar is still young and still have a long time to develop.

Realistic - The package that we can expect
Kit Zaldivar, Adrian Wong, 2nd round pick
They will defend it by pointing to the fact that Zaldivar and Wong are both first round picks and they even added a 2nd round pick. Unfortunately, the potential of Go tha Terrafirma gave up is way too high for them to only get low-potential young players and a 2nd round pick.
