It is really outrageous to claim that even with almost a year in the sideline due to injury, San Miguel superstar Terrence Romeo is still one of the top 5 most popular player in the PBA?
Junemar Fajardo, James Yap and Scottie Thompson are surely part of that top 5 but after those three, I think Terrence is the next best bet.
So, if he is really in the trade block, I expect that almost every serious teams will want to have him. And these three squads should be serious ones!
Rain or Shine
Rain or Shine has been in the blackhole of mediocrity in the past several years. They need something to reignite the interest of the fans and a new face of the franchise. James Yap is returning but getting Romeo will surely put them again on the public eye.
Converge
I just feel like coach Aldin Ayo and Terrence Romeo are meant to be with each other. If coach Aldin wants a Rockstar point guard, Terrence is easily the most Rockstar point guard in the league. I also think that offensively, Converge still needs someone who can consistently breakdown the defense.
Ginebra
In conferences with Justin Brownlee, Ginebra is not that in need of a Terrence Romeo. The story is different in the Philippine Cup. They need someone who can be their ace player in the Philippine Cup. And if healthy, Terrence can still be that guy.
