PBA Controversy: The BIGGEST SNUB of the Gilas pool for the FIBA World Cup February window!

This upcoming FIBA World Cup window has reminded us of how thin is our pool of quality centers that our national team can choose from.

Japeth Aguilar, Kai Sotto, Angelo Kouame and Carl Tamayo will not be there for our national team. That has forced the national team to call Kelly Williams.

That will leave the national team with the following tall players; Junemar Fajardo, Mason Amos, Kevin Quiambao, Kelly Williams and Arvin Tolentino.

Now, there is one name that I am surprised that Gilas did not call. Justin Arana. Arana is coming with an impressive game against Fajardo.

Yes, his 10.1 points, 55% FG, 7.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.2 blocks statline is not monstrous for a bigman. But he is only a rookie.

I think Arana deserves to be part of the Gilas pool. The guy is very young and he looks really promising on both ends of the court.
