I am pretty sure you are not that much aware of what NLEX Road Warriors is doing. Unfortunately for them, they ended up with a 7-4 card but they will settle with a twice-to-beat disadvantage.
One reason why they are not getting enough attention are the trades that they have done in the past few years. Even with those trades, NLEX may have found a core that can actually reach the championship round!
Of course, it will be hard for them to do it in the Philippine Cup but with how aggressive the management of NLEX in import conferences, the possibility is there.
Specially now that they have established a superb big 3! I am talking about Kevin Alas, Don Trollano and Brandon Rosser!
All three is averaging more than 15 points per game and shooting better than 50% in the field! No other team has managed that!
Brandon is looking like a capable MVP candidate in the very near future. His combination of shooting and rim protection can push him to that level.
Kevin will always be a risky star because of injuries but if he can remain healthy, NLEX should be fine in the back court.
And Don Trollano will be there to complete any type of five that they need.
