PBA Controversy: Is San Miguel making a BIG MISTAKE of not playing Terrence Romeo?

San Miguel Beermen is facing a lot of pressure. They cannot afford a loss now in their series against the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel.

Although, that was already expected the moment Junemar Fajardo was sidelined due to injury. San Miguel is just not that good without him.

Now, issues are also starting to rise from the other sides of the team. Calvin Abueva of the Magnolia Hotshots was the first one to take note about the absence of Romeo.

Actually, he did not play in the first two games of the semifinals. And knowing his stature, Abueva was shocked about it and made his comment.

He posted LET TERRENCE ROMEO PLAY.

He then made an advice to Terrence that he talked to the head coach about his situation. He even said that the bench players are getting more minutes than him.

But, is the coaching staff wrong?

Terrence is actually playing fine in his eight games this season. Although, he is really bad on the defensive end and I do not think his confidence his back.

For him to get major minutes now means he will use it to find his ways and rhythm. They are already in the playoffs and they do not have the luxury to do that.

In conclusion, I understand the decision of the coaching staff of San Miguel.
