So, it is not shocking that we are starting to hear a lot of trade rumors around the league. The most recent one was posted by Inside the PBA in Twitter.
According to that Twitter account, Troy Rosario is now on the trade block and Blackwater is not only asking for basketball-related package. They are also asking for P15 million.
I am not sure how will the team get that P15 million but that could mean that only those who can pay can get Troy. Unfortunately for the Independent teams without too much cash, they do not have what it takes to get Troy.
Now, Snow Badua commented in the post. He said that Troy already have a taker and the clue is VROOM VROOM.
Looking at the other eleven teams. that clue is most applicable to NLEX Road Warriors and Terrafirma Dyip because they are the ones who are connected to cars.
NLEX though will end up as the team being hinted upon because Inside the PBA stated that "Malakas daw kumain ang kapalit?"
That clue will now point to JR Quinahan, a member of the defunct Extra Rice Inc.
Of course, I do not think that a straight Quinahan for Rosario swap is a fair deal. NLEX should add something to make it an equal exchange.
