PBA Analysis: Ginebra legend Justin Brownlee is losing to father time!

The phrase father time is the representation of getting older. So, when we say that someone is already losing to it, we are saying that his performance is regressing.

Brownlee could be on that process right now and we are witnessing a much clearer evidence in this 2023 PBA finals this Governors' Cup.

Of course, you are already aware about his 19% shooting in game 2. It was clearly the reason why the loss that game.

Other than that, his numbers are just down in comparison to his performance against the Bay Area Dragons. Against Bay Area, he averaged 32.1 points, 50% FG, 40% 3FG, 11.4 rebounds and 7 assists per game.

In this series against TNT, his numbers is down to 25 points, 47% FG, 8.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.5 steals per game.

Those are still good numbers. But they are clearly down from what he did in their last Finals series wherein they are facing a more talented team.

Fortunately for Ginebra, TNT will now miss their top local player. Ginebra is clearly in an advantage. Can they complete their defense of their crown?
