PBA Trade Rumors: Ginebra's perfect Japeth Aguilar trade with Converge!

Governor Delta Pineda is now the main decision-maker of the Converge Fiber Xers. And according to insiders, the Abu Tratter trade was already his move.

Knowing that he is the governor of Pampanga, he desires to grab the players from Pampanga. Japeth Aguilar is one of those possibilities.

Now, what is the perfect, realistic and worst trade in the angle of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel?

Perfect - 2023 #9 and #10 pick, Justin Arana
It will be a hell of a deal if Ginebra can get the two first round picks that Converge holds and the blue-chip prospect Arana. Aguilar is still a very credible center but he is nearing his retirement already.

Japeth is already 36 years old. Arana is not as tall as Aguilar and his defense is not as good. But he still have that potential to be a top 15 player in the PBA. Add the possibility of those #9 and #10 pick and Ginebra's future could be better.

Realistic - 2023 #9 and #10 pick, Jeo Ambohot, Taylor Browne
Knowing that Aguilar is about to turn 37, there is a good chance that Converge will not offer one of their premium young and in-prime players. Ambohot is the most realistic young piece that Converge is willing to part ways. Browne is another young piece that Converge can put.

Worst - Justin Arana
Even though Arana is a very interesting and promising prospect in the PBA. I do not think that him alone is enough to justify giving up Aguilar. Aguilar when healthy can be a top 3 player of a championship team even in this upcoming season.
