JR Quinahan is one of the most sought-after free agents in the PBA after his contract with NLEX was terminated following his involvement in a brawl. TNT Tropang Giga and Blackwater Elite are rumored to be interested in signing Quinahan via Snow Badua.
Quinahan is a versatile center who can play both inside and outside. He is a good scorer and rebounder, and he also has a good midrange game. He is also a good defender. Quinahan would be a good addition to any team with what he brings into the table.
TNT is coming off a successful season in which they won the championship. They need to add some size and scoring to their frontcourt, and Quinahan would be a good fit. Add the reality that JP Erram is not reliable and Kelly Williams may resume his retirement and the 2023 Gov. Cup champion has all the reasons to pursue JR.
Blackwater is also looking to improve their frontcourt, and Quinahan would be a good addition to their young core. I mean, he can be the mentor to their younger bigs.
But what is interesting is that San Miguel Corporation may not allow it to happen. So, an old center is about to have a bidding war?
I am not really sure that it is worth it for the teams who will participate.
