PBA Trade Analysis: Is Meralco's Norbert Torres the most underrated player in the league?

When the news about the exchange between the Meralco Bolts and the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, social media were quick to point to the Painters as the winner of the exchange.

Of course, I cannot blame them because Mac Belo was once the most hyped prospect of one of the deepest draft in the history of the PBA!

Remember the 2016 Gilas draft where he was rumored to be the top pick and under him were Matthew Wright, RR Pogoy and etc.?

Now though, Norbert Torres is also not that bad of a get for Meralco Bolts who just said goodbye to their old reliable, Reynel Hugnatan.

Norbert is a legit 6'6 who has the body to handle the giants of the league. This type of players are crucial in the rotation of a contender.

Now, what makes it interesting for Meralco is the fact that Norbert just delivered his best three-point shooting season!

He also averaged more than one three-pointer make per game. If he can be that efficient again, Meralco's offense could be taking a step forward!
