PBA Trade Rumors: San Miguel is replacing Moala Tautuaa?

 

The rumors surrounding the San Miguel Beermen and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel has heated up in the past several days.

But up to the writing of this article, a trade has not transpired. Now, after making a hint that San Miguel has made an offer for Maverick Ahanmisi of Converge.

Now, Snow Badua has posted another one. In the post, he said that San Miguel looking for a post-up bigman to serve as Junemar Fajardo’s chief back up. Their current biggie, Mo Tautuaa, plays face to the basket. The bigman did not play in Cambodia.

First, I agree that Moala Tautuaa is a face-up big. And I actually think that, that is the type of bigman that San Miguel needs.

What is the point of getting another post-up big knowing that he cannot play with Fajardo and knowing that Vic Manuel and Rodney Brondial are not stretch-bigs?

Going back to the rumor, it is clearly point to Isaac Go of Terrafirma Dyip. The key part is the last sentence. "Go figure it out".

I wonder though how Terrafirma will defend the trade if they will not get back a giant center in the trade when they told the media that they need a bigman.
